Our final speaker for Saturday is non other than local GP and Talking FreELY trustee Dr Stephen Case-Upton who brings his professional perspective and personal commitment to our event.
Here is his bio
“I was born on the Wirral in the North West of England and studied Medicine at The University of Sheffield in South Yorkshire. I moved to the East of England in 2006, where I completed my GP training. I started working as a GP Partner in Ely in 2012. I now live in Ely with my wife and young family.
As a local GP I have a good understanding of mental heath conditions, and working knowledge of referral pathways and associated community services”
So there we have it, 3 great speakers with a huge breadth of experience and knowledge on Mental Health.
If thats not enough to convince you we have our mindfulness zone and light therapy areas as well as our informal information zone and pop up cafe where you can talk (or not) to one of our lived experience Talking FreELY volunteers.
The day starts at 9.30 but feel free to pop in at any time. A warm cuppa and friendly smile await you.
